Go and Sin No More: The Day Shame Lost Its Grip on Me
Have you ever noticed how the decisions you make from fear, desperation, or exhaustion never seem to create what you wanted… and instead add another layer of heaviness?
It’s not because you’re broken.
It’s not because you’re cursed.
It’s because the frequency of survival only produces more survival.
For years, that was me. Every choice — even the ones I made with the best of intentions — seemed to create more chaos, more shame, more weight on my chest. I was carrying the lowest vibrations of guilt and unworthiness, and the law of attraction was faithful to mirror those frequencies back to me.
It wasn’t until I hit my breaking point that everything shifted.
The Breaking Point
I was lying prostrate on the bare bones of my house. No floors. Just raw wood planks, exposed walls — the hollow frame of a life stripped down.
How did I get here?
It began with betrayal. The man I loved and trusted betrayed me and then turned against me, cutting me down with words and actions that left me bleeding inside. Not long after, I lost my father — a grief so deep, yet I never had the chance to process it because survival kept demanding my every breath.
Then came the fire. In one night, flames consumed the safety of my home, displacing me and my children and scattering the fragile stability I was clinging to.
And when I tried to rebuild, I was betrayed again. Contractors I trusted mishandled my money and left me stranded in the rubble of broken promises. Each time I tried to stand, another blow knocked me to my knees. More betrayals. More financial strain. More weight I wasn’t built to carry alone.
So there I was — in the shell of a house that once held my family, reduced to beams and dust. Flat on my face. Exhausted. Lonely. Convinced I was unworthy of love. Convinced I had ruined everything by the choices I made.
That was my breaking point.
The John 8 Pivot: When Shame Lost Its Grip
Flat on the wood planks of my bare-bones house, something happened that changed everything.
Like a vision, I saw Jesus standing beside me. Sandals on the raw floor. His robe brushing against me where I lay.
And He spoke.
“I get it. I understand why you made those choices. It was not your fault. You acted out of survival, not rebellion. Each decision you made out of alignment only produced more misalignment. But from this moment, I wipe your slate clean. I do not condemn you. Go, and sin no more.”
In that moment, I understood what those words really mean.
“Go and sin no more” was never about flawless perfection.
It was never about legalistic striving.
It was never about being good enough to earn love.
It was about alignment.
No more survival-mode choices.
No more scrambling to control your own circumstances.
No more cycles of shame.
Instead:
From now on, choose alignment.
Choose from identity, not fear — the unshakable truth that you are the beloved child of the Most High God.
Choose from trust, not desperation — placing your confidence in God’s power, not your own strength, and certainly not in people who will fail you.
And that’s when it happened. The shift.
A boulder lifted off my body. Cool, refreshing peace flowed through me like water in the desert. I felt restored in a way I hadn’t felt in decades. Psalm 23:3 came alive in me:
“He restores my soul.”
Manifestation, Visualization, and the Power of Feeling
When I look back, I can see how this moment mirrored the very principles of manifestation:
Visualization: I saw Jesus standing there. The vision was vivid, undeniable.
Feeling: I felt His compassion, forgiveness, and authority in my body. The frequency of shame gave way to the frequency of love.
Word: I heard His truth anchor the shift — “Neither do I condemn you.”
Receiving: I let it land. I stopped resisting, stopped disqualifying myself.
Shift: My energy reset. My slate was clean.
This is the essence of manifestation and prayer. Visualization creates the picture. Feeling creates the vibration. Words anchor it. And receiving allows the shift.
Prayer isn’t begging — it’s alignment. It’s stepping into the frequency of the answer.
Why This Matters for You
Maybe you’ve been living in the same loop — trying to fix your life, only to find yourself deeper in shame. Maybe you’ve carried the belief that you’re too far gone, too broken, too unworthy.
But here’s the truth:
You are not condemned.
You are not defined by what you did to survive.
You are not disqualified because of what was done to you.
You are not beyond restoration.
Your slate is clean.
Your purity is restored.
Your story is new.
“Go and sin no more” is not a threat. It’s an invitation to alignment. A reset. A new way forward.
The Invitation
I didn’t arrive at this revelation overnight. It came because I’ve been walking through the framework I now teach inside The Treasure in You™. That framework led me step by step — from survival mode, shame, and unworthiness — into alignment with my true spiritual nature.
It’s alignment that creates the shift. When I finally understood that, the heaviness broke. I stopped striving, stopped chasing, stopped settling. And in that space of alignment, the revelation came: I am worthy of love. I am worthy of provision. I am worthy of partnership that reflects God’s design.
This was my pivot point. And it can be yours.
Lay down the mountain of shame. Let the weight lift. Stop fixing, stop scrambling, stop trying to prove yourself.
Breathe.
Receive.
Go — and live aligned.
Because He restores your soul too.
✨ If you are tired of tolerating what breaks you, if you’re ready to release the lies and step into your God-given identity, The Treasure in You™ will walk you into that shift. It’s the same process that restored my faith in myself, in God’s plan, and yes — even in men.
